When I got to the Airbnb where Mia and her girls were getting ready I could sense that Mia was having those "morning of the wedding" jitters. Most of us have them whether we admit it or not. But as soon as she saw her soon-to-be husband standing on the pier waiting for their first look her entire body relaxed. You could see the stress melt away as the two of them embraced. Mia and Nick are a true example of what it means to be soul mates. It only takes moments in their presence to see that their love is something special. And their wedding day certainly reflected that. It was a celebration of family and friends. Their ceremony was presided over by the best in the business, Judge Derek Mosley. He truly has a gift for engaging guests and making sure that everyone is a part of a couple's special day. After the "I do's" guests enjoyed cocktail hour out on the riverwalk right outside of Black Swan MKE. Milwaukee Airwaves had the dance floor hopping and Cold Spoons Gelato brought the cart out for everyone to enjoy a frozen treat. Through it all Mia and Nick found plenty of moments to snuggle with each other and share hugs with their friends. It was truly a perfect day and I'm so glad that Liz and I were there to share it with them!
